FaithIQ ("FaithIQ," "we," "us," or "our") provides the FaithIQ - Bible Quiz mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the App or interact with any related services. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information described below when you use the App. Some information is collected directly from you, while other data is generated automatically when you interact with the App.

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account and authentication details: When you start a guest session or sign in with Apple, we collect identifiers and tokens supplied by Apple and any device context you submit to create or maintain your session.
• Quiz activity and responses: When you play, we collect your quiz answers, scores, timing, and selected categories so we can score your session, update your progress, and show leaderboards.
• Support communications: If you contact us through in-app support tools or email, we receive the content of your message and any contact details you provide so that we can respond.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device and app context: We collect device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, app version, bundle/package identifiers, and platform to help authenticate sessions, optimize compatibility, and detect abuse. This context is generated via the app and libraries such as react-native-device-info.
• Usage and diagnostics data: When the App experiences an error or performance issue, we may log technical details (such as timestamps, request metadata, IP-derived information, and crash diagnostics) to investigate problems and improve reliability.
• Push notification tokens: If you enable push notifications, we collect Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens so we can deliver updates about account activity or feature updates.
• Purchase and subscription status: Through RevenueCat we receive information about your entitlements (e.g., whether a subscription is active) and anonymized identifiers used to manage purchases. FaithIQ does not receive your full payment card details.

1.3 Local Device Storage

To keep you signed in and maintain preferences, the App stores session tokens, feature flags, quiz state, and limited settings data securely on your device (for example using SecureStore or MMKV storage). You can clear this data by signing out or uninstalling the App.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App and related services.
• Score quiz sessions, track progress, and deliver results such as leaderboards and achievements.
• Authenticate sessions, prevent fraud, and secure the App.
